At the event, Hanoi Art House (the UK) and ArtBlue Studio (Singapore) displayed lacquer, oil, and acrylic paintings from artists, including Thanh Chuong, Phuong Binh, Bui Trong Du, and others, all left a strong impression on collectors and buyers.

Hoa Angie, Director of Hanoi Art House, noted that Vietnamese art, particularly lacquer paintings, has gained wider recognition among the British public through exhibitions and fairs like the Affordable Art Fair.

Founded in 1999, the Affordable Art Fair is a prestigious annual international art trade fair in the UK aimed at making art accessible to the public. The fair ensures that at least 30% of participating galleries are from abroad, providing opportunities for emerging artists and new businesses to display and sell their work.

This year's event marks the second celebration of its 25th anniversary. With over 100 galleries from across the UK and 17 countries participating, the fair showcased thousands of contemporary artworks and was expected to attract around 25,000 visitors, Hugo Barclay, the fair director, said.

The event also featurds art exhibitions, workshops, and guided tours, creating opportunities for international artists and photographers to connect and promote their national art.

The fair director emphasized that the fair allows art lovers in the UK to explore art from around the world, including Vietnam, highlighting Hanoi Art House's decade-long participation as a reflection of British interest in Vietnamese art.

He noted that the UK represents a promising market for foreign art, including Vietnamese works, citing fair statistics that demonstrate the high demand among the British for exploring and purchasing international artworks.
