The exhibition aims to showcase the significant historical value of the Liberation Day in the context of the revolutionary struggle for national independence and socialism. It also highlights the wise leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, and the spirit of national unity as key factors in the successes of the Vietnamese revolution.

Additionally, the exhibition seeks to promote patriotism and the spirit of “Determined to Sacrifice for the Nation,” reflecting the bravery and resilience of the military and people of Hanoi during the fight for independence and national unification.

It will also present the achievements of Hanoi and the country in development, reform, and integration over nearly 40 years of renewal.

The book exhibition will take place within the National Library of Vietnam, featuring both indoor and outdoor displays centered around key themes: “Hanoi - A Thousand Years of Civilization and Heroism,” “Hanoi - The City of Peace,” “Hanoi - The Heart of the Nation and the Political-Administrative Center,” and a showcase of notable books from various periods that have been adapted into films.

One of the highlights of the exhibition will be two models: “Viet Bac - The Capital of the Resistance” by Thai Nguyen University Publishing House and “Hanoi - The Capital of Peace” by Hanoi Publishing House, alongside booths from various publishers and distributors.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore valuable book collections, photographs, and literature about the Vietnamese people.

The exhibition will feature artistic works and research projects by scholars both domestically and internationally, focusing on Hanoi's rich history, the 70th anniversary of its liberation, and the city's ongoing development as a modern, civilized capital deserving of its status as the national political-administrative center and a major hub for culture, science, education, economics, and international exchange.

Publishers and distributors will offer a range of events, including discussions, book presentations, author meet-and-greets, and artistic performances, all featuring appealing discounts for readers.
