Emulation Cluster No. 4 under the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP), headed this year by Military Literature Magazine, held a conference in Hanoi on June 4 to review emulation and commendation work and the “Determined-to-win” emulation movement during the first six months of 2026.
According to the report presented at the conference, agencies within the cluster carried out emulation activities in line with their political tasks, focusing on improving the quality of journalism, publishing, broadcasting, television, library services, and cultural and literary activities in the military.
Over the past six months, units actively promoted major political events, military and defense tasks, and preparations for the 14th National Party Congress and the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly. The movement was also linked to studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle, while encouraging digital transformation and the application of technology in professional work.
Delegates discussed achievements, existing challenges, and practical measures to improve the effectiveness of emulation and commendation work in the coming months.
Representatives also exchanged experiences in digital transformation, especially efforts to reduce administrative paperwork, and agreed to strengthen sports and cultural exchanges among member units to enhance solidarity.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Nguyen Trong Vinh, Head of the Information and Education Division under the GDP’s Department of Political Affairs, praised the preparation efforts of Military Literature Magazine as cluster head and acknowledged the positive results achieved by member agencies.
Concluding the event, Colonel and writer Phung Van Khai, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Military Literature Magazine, expressed hope that Emulation Cluster No. 4 would continue renewing its activities, promoting digital transformation, improving the quality of media and cultural products, and effectively supporting upcoming major national and military commemorations in the second half of 2026.
