The 11th Congress of the Military Youth Union for the 2025–2030 term wrapped up in Hanoi on December 10, reaffirming the theme: “Military Youth: Courageous, Pioneering, Breakthrough, Progressive - Worthy of Uncle Ho’s Soldiers, Confidently Advancing into the New Era.”

Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) General Nguyen Trong Nghia underscored the congress’s special significance. He stressed that the gathering continues to implement the Party’s guidelines and State policies on youth work, particularly the resolutions of the 12th Military Party Congress.

The congress, he noted, provides direction and motivation for young service members to uphold the qualities of loyalty, courage, innovation, and responsibility, traits that define “Uncle Ho’s soldiers” in the modern era.

General Nghia urged delegates to thoroughly grasp the Party’s views on military and defense affairs, and the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army.

He called for thoughtful discussion, democratic debate, and active participation to ensure the congress truly reflects the aspirations and contributions of military youth.

In his closing remarks, GDP’s Deputy Chief Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh emphasized the need to quickly disseminate congress outcomes, implement action plans, and inspire strong emulation movements across the military youth force.
