Free Film Week to welcome 21st Vietnam Film Festival

A week of free film screenings will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 6 to 12 to welcome the 21st Vietnam Film Festival.

A week of free film screenings will be held in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City from November 6 to 12 to welcome the 21st Vietnam Film Festival.

The movie ‘The Happiness of Mother’ by director Pham Huynh Dong and produced by Diep Co Entertainment Co., Ltd. was selected to open the film week.

The event is hosted by the Cinema Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the National Cinema Centre and DCINE Joint Stock Company, as the opening event of the series of activities before the 21st Vietnam Film Festival.

During the film week, audiences will have the opportunity to enjoy 30 Vietnamese films.

Free tickets are available at the National Cinema Centre, 87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi, and DCINE Ben Thanh, 6 Mac Dinh Chi, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Each person can receive up to two tickets.

The opening ceremony of film week will take place at 7.30 pm on November 6 at the National Cinema Center, 87 Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.

The movie ‘The Happiness of Mother’ by director Pham Huynh Dong and produced by Diep Co Entertainment Co., Ltd. was selected to open the film week. The film features the touching story of a poor single mother with many illnesses that helps her son with autism syndrome to boldly pursue his life's dream.
