Eighty-five outstanding literary and artistic works were honored at the 2025 Literary and Artistic Awards Ceremony, held in Hanoi on January 14 by the Vietnam Union of Literary and Arts Associations.

The awards recognized 10 exceptional works from 10 central specialized literary and artistic associations, along with 75 works by authors affiliated with local associations nationwide.

Together, the honored works reflect the most notable creative achievements of the year, capturing the richness of Vietnam’s contemporary cultural and spiritual life.

Ten authors receive Outstanding Awards presented by the Vietnam Union of Literary and Arts Associations.

Spanning literature, music, fine arts, cinema, photography, dance, theatre, and folk arts, the awarded works combine artistic quality with historical reflection, regional cultural identity, and the aspirations of modern Vietnamese society.

They contribute to shaping a vibrant creative space that resonates strongly with today’s social realities.

The 2025 awards also highlighted the growing scale and influence of the national literary and artistic movement.

This year, the organizing committee received 441 entries from literary and artistic associations across all 34 provinces and centrally governed cities.

After a rigorous evaluation process, the specialized award councils selected six A prizes, 17 B prizes, 18 C prizes, 33 consolation prizes, and one Young Author prize among local entries, in addition to the central awards.

According to People’s Artist Vuong Duy Bien, the union’s Standing Vice President, screening at the grassroots level played a key role in improving the overall quality of submissions, contributing to a strong and meaningful awards season.
